Don't forget that there are very few meters that measure UV, PAR meters do not.
I would reduce the intensity now that you have the time reduced. Look for new damage taking into account it can take several days for new damage to show.
Yeah I dialed it all back and I'm going to watch it now. Fingers crossed lol

Day 38/18/4:

Everything is going alright in the tent today. They are still not liking the UV schedule, the Marathon OG most of all. It's really starting to not look great along with the AvT :wall:Thinking there might be a deficiency issue but we'll see if it slows down with the top dress. I'll likely just top dress the rest tonight in light of this. Dropped the UV to 2 x 30 min intervals spread out about 2 hours And turned down the light some. Fingers crossed this does the trick.View attachment 1479008View attachment 1479009View attachment 1479010
No worries brother… they’ll get their color back in 3-4 days once the amendments kick in.
You’re growing some monster plants and at this stage they’re eating more than ever. You might want to top dress with 1/2 cup every 7-10 days to avoid any deficiencies.

Funny you mention that, I was thinking that exact same thing! Great minds I guess :crying:Going to up it to 1/2 cup every 7-10 days. Thinking with my setup that should work great. Appreciate the advice as always bro!

Hey tell me everything I'll need to use for down to earth products?? If it's cheaper and works good I'm down for that..... Thanks
Hey man! So @420autoflower put me onto this. He's the guru on this.

For this grow all I did was plant into FFOF which lasted about 4 weeks initially. Been considering going with some promix next run but that would mean getting a veg top dress. DTE has a bunch of different dry amendments so I'm sure they have a good veg premade like the bloom. Or you could mix up your own with individual stuff they sell. Personally the FFOF costs just as much as other soils for me so I just use that so I don't have to mess with veg nutes.

After the 4 weeks I top dress with 1/2 cup of DTE 4-8-4 every 7-10 days. It was 1/3 cup every 10-14 but that has proven to be on the lighter side for my hungrier strains so I bumped it up. Other than that it's just recharge every 5-7 days. I water with my RO water that I add +50ppm calimagic, yucca, and pH to 6.5 and just pour it right over the top dress.

With you using sip buckets it might not work due to having to water in the top dress but you could do an amended super soil that could last a whole grow with minor additives like recharge. That's the route I'd go with those. Here's my super soil notes I've taken if you're interested. Pulled the first mix off someone here on AFN, can't remember who. Second one is Daz from night owls mix

Sometimes, just adding a little of your admix as a top dressing will be all you need, or even better, fresh worm castings! I feel that you should also keep a few items in case of deficiencies. Blood meal for FAST doses of N, kelp meal for K, molasses or alfalfa meal for P, lime and Epsom salts or Cal/Mag for calcium and magnesium. Use these if you see definite signs of deficiency. N in particular is easy to spot.
4:1 ratio of soil to admix

Base mix
20% coco coir
70% organic potting soil
10% cow or horse manure ( composted )

Admix(must cook 2-4 weeks):
60% worm castings 5% Jobe's , Dr. Earth, etc
5% blood meal
10% dolomite lime ( fine ground is best )
15% chicken manure ( or a blend of Bat guano and Seabird guano )
5% epsom salts

KISS MIX(can use right away):
60% worm castings
20% boxed " super soil" nutrients, Jobe's Doctor Earth, etc
10% lime
10% epsom salts

DAZ Super Soil Mix
5lbs Blood meal - Down to Earth
5Lbs Bone meal - Down to Earth
5Lbs Bat guano - Primal Harvest from Earth Juice
2.4Lbs Sulfate of potash (half granual half fine) - Protassium
1.5Lbs Dolomite Lime - Down to Earth
1Lb Epsom salt - Magriculture
1Lb Azomite - Azomite Mineral Products .5Lb Humic Acid - The Anderson's Humic DG

Can use standard bone meal or half/half mix w/ fish bone meal Amend at 2 Tablespoons a gallon Add Bat Guano, Azomite, Diatomaceous Earth, and Myco to recharge soil

Ok cool I think that's the way I'm going to go when I use up all I have super soil.... I just can't cook my own... Where I live plus... If I could just buy it all ready made.... They have build a soil at my hydro store... Shit they have all types of soil..... I'll check that out I'm sure they could point me in the right direction too.... Thanks bud I'm going to do that.... I think it would work best for sips cause.... I don't think they like their roots just soaking in a big mix of stuff.... Lol

Sure no problem! Glad to be able to help out and pass along the info. If you can get it where you just gotta fill your sips with water I bet they would love it. But yeah I feel you on creating super soil, there are some good premade ones out there already. If the grow dots and light mix works out for me that will be the easiest route tbh so we will see how it goes.

I think Dank just covered everything bro.
Should work well with your sips if you do a little top watering to get the amendments activated.
You can keep it simple and just use the 4-4-4 for veg (if needed) and the 4-8-4 for flowering, with a little Dolomites lime to substitute for your Calmag. The DTE is very inexpensive and the 4-8-4 is basically all the plants will need during flowering.
