New Grower D.P's StarRyder & Joint Doc's Betty Boo in soil under l.e.d's

Let me start by saying, they will be growing under a 90w 1w diode UFO. It's either 4 or 5 band I let you know next post, but not getting out of bed now hoping this will make me tired, as I can't sleep again and am getting grumpy.

For all the haters out there do 1 now, I do not want this thread contaminated by bad karma. (advice and constructive criticism welcome)
I know your lights are better than mine and 1w diodes are shit, but it's what i got okay

The basic set up
3x D.P's StarRyder
3x Betty Boo
60x60x140 tent
4" ruck fan with carbon filter
4" clip on fan
90w UFO
1 ltr air pots for the Betty's
3ltr air pots and 6.5ltr square pots for the StarRyders
Bio bizz all mix
rhizotonic
root riot cubes
propagator
measuring bits n bobs

The story so far
received the Betty's today, still waiting on the StarRyders
I normally start my beans in soil with no soak or anything, but this time i thought i would soak them for 24hrs in rhizotonic and then use the root riots. but i started so have 2nd thoughts so they were soaked for about 8hrs when doubt started to creep in. So at that point placed 2 in the root riots in the propagator and 1 straight in to the bio bizz in 1ltr air-pot then watered with the rhizotonic that they were soaking in without thinking(you'll find I do a lot of that, not thinking that is!)
the rhizotonic was full strength:no: so that's one hot bed for the lil girl hope she will be ok, i don't like playing the waiting game.

This was originally going to be StarRyder(SR) only in 3ltr air-pots, but as i can't control myself and 10-12 weeks is a long time in my world, thought i would put the bettys in there to stop me molesting the SR.
After reading Big Budda/Buddha (sorry if it's wrong can never find a thread when ya need it! i will get it right promise) troubles with air pots n auto's. I don't feel confident to put all my beans in them baskets, so I is going to have a little experiment 1 SR bean is going straight in to a 6.5ltr square pot with all-mix watered in with 1/4 strength rhizotonic the other 2 will go in the root riot's then in to 1 ltr air pots whilst i figure out what to do with them, thinking i should then re pot 1 in the air pot and 1 in square pot so there is only one variable and see how they go, but the air pots are my new toy and i want to play with them so still debating, any input would be appreciated.

right my brain is mush n sleep is calling, well power nap it's 05:30ish now so can't really call it sleep :cry:

Hmm... what a great way to start a thread!

I said concise so as a man of me word here goes

my led states the ratios are R660:R640:O:B:Y:U.V. = 12:24:6:14:4. and 90x 1w I need to go do research on me own kit,:cry: but I'm guessing that would make it a 5 band assuming you count the 2 red's as 1 band. will check the oracle called Google but i guess my hunch is right.

What i was making a hash of at the end of the last post, i.e how to get the best usable data. I think it would be to do the SR's as follows (I'm not soaking the beans it turns me gut thinking about.) 1 placed straight in to a 3 ltr air-pot 1 straight in to a 6.5 ltr pot both watered in with 1/4 strength rhizotonic then the last 1 started in a riot cube and potted up to 1ltr air pot then up to the 3.5 air pot. So we can see the air pot vs normal pot and air pot vs root riot and potted up airports.

What do you guy's think ?

Ther are a lot of growers who use air pots, including my self andall ive heard is good things.They do promote xtra root growth and in turn a better all around plant.,

And as far as your light goes, shake what your mama gave you. :thumbs: I started off growing under a DIY CFL rig that looked like a glowing tarantula dangling from the ceiling. I still got great meds that I know were completely safe for me to enjoy, plus the satisfaction of being self-sufficient and having my wallet be a little bit fatter.

after thinking i was an expert on airpots after a whole mornings google searches! I came to the same conclusion the science seems legit, then after coming home from the hydro store and putting something like "airpots and auto's" in to goggle i found big Buddha's thread about his woes with them. It planted the seed of doubt as it were, but i'm still going to carry on with what i suggested earlier if only to feed my own curiosity. Do you have a grow thread i could check out ?

Can't blame you for my warped mind, but i got visions of a psychedelic freak out version of chop square found in many a town in Saudi on a friday after prays. with a blackcurrant jelly baby leading the ritual humiliation, something along the lines lines of i can see my mine under a 20x loupe this is a 100x and not even a hundred n thousand for a pecker" with Berty basset in a gimp mask wielding the rusty grapefruit spoon, carved from a jolly rancher(never liked um) blinding him in both his ears before causing a slow pain death with AFN folk dancing as you say round there corpse with the kitty in you avatar attempting to chew on said pecker. With a dub sound clash going on an the usual festivity that follows and the sent of a 1000 closet's wafting through the air, you know you want to pass Your diesel ryder my way next!

but on a serious note i love the d.i.y mentality, even if i only exhibit it limited quantities, and we all know home grown be best weather it's cali wonder or cali kush, i can't wait to smoke something even remotely medicinal, again weed round here is so bad it's just plain wrong gave up smoking it and turned to the dark side of synth noids but learned me lesson on them and never again hopefully, i wana get back to looking like this still got me fro comb, do you think i could lst me dread's back in to an afro ?

them cubes do sound the bomb never used them before. Hoping mine will pop by Saturday so i got something to do over the wk' end trying to find a suitable heater to go in the tent and get it toastie in there, and try and speed it up a bit. I thought i had an oil filled radiator and don't remember loaning it outs so fek knows where it is, covered in dust n bugs at the back of the garage no doubt! and i would say sounds can deceptive but thanks for you r faith Bud
