She likes what you are doing  I used recycled Roots Organic from the last grow..I took 5 gallons from the 20 something gallons I have in the trashcan and added the GBD/Mephisto amendments at 1/2 scoop per gallon ( instead of the recommended 2 tablespoons) and mixed it throughout the entire medium instead of just the bottom layer as instructed..To that 5 gallons I added some extra Perlite, fresh worm castings, rock phosphate, garden lime, azomite, alfalfa meal, gypsum, organic cal/mag powder, grow and bloom granules,Real Grower's recharge and a few other things I can't remember at the moment..I also added 2 different Mychorrizae around the base of the seedling as well as watered with Tealab's microbial Inoculant.

I wish I wrote down how much of everything I added because it is working very well and would help many people out but I just eyeballed it. A handful of this,a scoop of that, a teaspoon of this,a couple tablespoons of that etc. As the plant grew I top dressed it with about a fistful of this https://www.autoflower.org/threads/living-seedling-clone-mix.58531/ and a couple weeks later a fistful of my main living soil mix...Been watering with distilled water,cal/mag @ 120 ppm and Mammoth P following the included chart. She also had that one light feeding of Foxfarm Big Bloom.

All the trouble you guys go through. Sometimes it baffles me. I'll never go there. All the fussing...it's just for my own use so I keep it small and simple. Hahaha!

You sound like a man with some experience tell me how ?? although I'm afraid the season for starting outside is closing fast . :nono:

I bought a few of these type of co2 tripwire activated mines...you can fill it with any nasty liquid you want and direct the blast

Simple is the key to stress free gardening! I just walked out to my greenhouse. Went in, looked around checked the budding plants and left. The only thing "complex" in my greenhouse is the water timer for the drip system. Now indoors I use auto pots. Not as simple as hand watering but not far from it, 2 moving parts in the valve that barely move, they'll never wear out. takes 2 minutes of maintenance a month flushing the lines as a preventative measure. All low maintenance, low stress.

I wish I could do another DWC grow, but if I did, I'd probably start drinking... the one time was enough for me! When I wasn't fussing with ph and nutrients and water temp, I was worrying about ph and water temp and nutrient strength............Garrrrgh...lol! Kudos to those who enjoy it though!

Thats the true joy of growing...it can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be!!

Well I'd let the pot dry out a bit then top it why some type of mulch, clay pebbles or perlite, etc
Well..... It won't dry out lol. It's my hybrid hempy dwc mad house. So the roots wick the soil very moist. Have not put a drop of water in the soil in several weeks.

I could top it though. With growstones and dry dry soil
Could even remove that layer and replace with dry. Just afraid of disturbing the spores.

Was thinking about a spray to kill it if it needed to die.
