Was wondering if I could get some advice? Dropped Beans cracked Beans yesterday and noticed some twitchy ass little flies dartin around my soil. Are they Fungus Gnats and if so what can I do?

The Fungus gnats are a nuisance. Their eggs hatch into larvae that can ruin your plants by eating roots. Especially young sprouts. Attack in two ways, Mosquito dunks. The "Bits" Derek mentions. They are sold in the big box home stores. They are loaded with nematodes that eat the larvae. Just soak a quarter piece in water and pour a generous amount into each container.
Second is a form of birth control. The tiny gnats hide their eggs under anything in the soil. They do not dig. A thin topping of a fine sand or Diatomaceous earth gives them no place to hide them so they move on.
Good luck.

Hey fam!
If you owned a 3x3x6 with 600w hps.
How many photos would you try for in there.. and what size pots would you use? Planning my next grow, gonna try some photos.. don't have much experience with them.
Thanks for any help family :vibe:

2 photos and scrog, 5-7 gal buckets or 1 photo in a 5-7 gallon bucket and veg a little longer. If you go no-till, like a 10-20 gal planter, 1 plant with a longer veg. Just my opinion, you could also do a sog setup in there. It all depends though, if you're using Coco, I've seen growers grow like a pound in a thimble lol not really but you know what I mean.

yeah id second that. 2 plants in 20L+ pots. scrog probably the best yield growing method for it aswell in my opinion.

Thanks goblin! I want variety so I'll do two photos, I'd like to scrog but I think my current grow will run into the next grow so we'll see what happens.
You wouldn't recommend three photos in 4-5 gal pots? With topping and heavy lst? Just got so many photo seeds lol
