most of my skill was built over time, training and methods passed down. and an inherent all natural understanding of what Plants need, want and how to do that within the natural relm. I have actually ZERo real school training. Ive mentioned this several times but few remember that ,thats why I rely on others to provide actual science although I understand it intrinsicly but more know the natural process verses numbers. I shy away from numbers in the method since they do not match. the symbiosis has always had multiple levels of relationships we havent a clue about just yet.

I have been starting my first experiment with hugelkulter already. Here's a pic of it. I have a pad for a greenhouse, a 20 ft hugelkulter make of maple, then my little row garden that I've been working on, another hugelkulter with mixed woods, and finally a prepared sandy clay loam raised bed. I am doing soil analysis to prove water holding capacity is significantly increased in a hugelkulter. This will lead to grants for making the orchard I dream of, on the hill behind these flowering peaches. Whether I actually publish data or not remains to be seen. It's a lot of work. _IGP0484.JPG _IGP0479.JPG _IGP0480.JPG _IGP0482.JPG _IGP0483.JPG _IGP0481.JPG

My wife just asked me today where I want to be in a year. Now I know, I want to be someplace with more land so I can grow more.
