Same to you Trail. I see an open window. one of my many fond memories of winter is sleeping in the cold crisp air with the window open. Never liked getting up with it.
photovoltaics are just wonderful! Even in your environment, you can depend on them to last.
When I bought mine, 75 watt panels were the best for the money. I see now, panels rated at over 250 watts for what I paid for my 75 watt units!

yup, prices are dramatically lower than what they once were. Solar panels have to be the most efficient tools ever produced. New ones warranteed for 25 yrs, nothing else manufactured holds a candle to this. My panels are are 22 yrs old, still produce the same power as when new!
I'm actually pretty excited about the prospect of getting solar panels to supplement my grow.. I'm sick of counting on the local electric to keep me going.. We get weekly outages, albeit they usually only last a few minutes.. I don't like the ballasts and drivers firing and then refiring while hot.. Even if I got a handful of 250w panels to run my side lighting, ventilation and fans, that'd be at least 200w of electrical savings, and then maybe even run the COB panel.. Anything to get me further off the grid would be a plus!!
