You hit the nail on the head the problem is winter. But having a year round garden seems to help a lot.

Your another one of these guys that gets snowed in? Or it's just horrible weather for riding period?

I don't eat much sugar being diabetic but I sure do like eating fresh veggies and meat. But once summer is over I seem to stop eating so many veggies which could be part of my self diagnosed seasonal depression.

Ooooo...have you tried canna capsules for the diabetes? It's all I take and have taken for about 3 months now, and the chemical meds didn't keep it in check like the canna does! [emoji121]

Yup winter here means bikes are put away. Rain tonight should wash the rest of the salt off the roads though, then I'm 2 wheeling it everywhere again.

LOL that's OK I won't take it personally!

Next time I take a 6 month holiday I'll go look for dragons to paint! Like I need another hobby right now... maybe I should rope hubby in too!

Yeah I think I would find going to the abattoir hard but it has to be done properly. There's no option to kill pigs or cattle at home - although I'm not sure if we have mobile abattoirs in the UK. I'll have to find out...
Hey there, sis! [emoji112] [emoji2] *hugs*

Staying with my girls and stealing their light for a couple of hours a day helped me through this winter. It's AMAZING the difference it makes!

ITs a great way to get everything in. The key is to blend it, rather than juice it. You want to have all that pulp in there (fiber!!). It usually is really good, depending what kind of fruit you use. I like to add pineapple, or red pears. I realized this morning my last pear had gone bad, so I used some blueberries my wife bought at the store yesterday. It made the smoothie so freakin' sour!! About turned my face inside out! Oh yeah...if a detox is what you're lookin' for, these shakes will certainly clean you out, if ya know what I mean.
Pineapple is my favourite to add flavour, do you freeze your fruit? I sometimes freeze berries and chuck some ice cubes in, you get an ice chilli slushy type smoothie perfect for warm days.
Haha bad pears, it could of turned out a lot worse! Haha
