Haha :D I'll mention it to my wife...she might say "Take the crazy bastard!"...ooo but then I would have to leave sunny Cannada for gloomy UK...sorry, I am out! :D

You should take a look at some of the miniature companies....there is really cool dragons figures and with a few utube vids you could paint them amazing!

The highland and the dexters have excellent temperments. They are handled lots, and some are halter trained. Even the pure highland bull is great. Never had a problem with the pigs either. Hardest thing is getting them onto the trailer when it comes time to butcher(send the pigs and cows out to a butcher)
LOL that's OK I won't take it personally!

Next time I take a 6 month holiday I'll go look for dragons to paint! Like I need another hobby right now... maybe I should rope hubby in too!

Yeah I think I would find going to the abattoir hard but it has to be done properly. There's no option to kill pigs or cattle at home - although I'm not sure if we have mobile abattoirs in the UK. I'll have to find out...

Brother! Depression a problem? Jump on that bike man and enjoy the fresh fast flowing air around you, personally when I ride all worries are gone I'm stress free and it's just me and my machine!
You hit the nail on the head the problem is winter. But having a year round garden seems to help a lot.

The smoothies are really nice, and I also like the idea of getting your daily serving of fruit and veg in a cool drink that doesn't taste like rubbish :coffee:
ITs a great way to get everything in. The key is to blend it, rather than juice it. You want to have all that pulp in there (fiber!!). It usually is really good, depending what kind of fruit you use. I like to add pineapple, or red pears. I realized this morning my last pear had gone bad, so I used some blueberries my wife bought at the store yesterday. It made the smoothie so freakin' sour!! About turned my face inside out! Oh yeah...if a detox is what you're lookin' for, these shakes will certainly clean you out, if ya know what I mean.

But once summer is over I seem to stop eating so many veggies which could be part of my self diagnosed seasonal depression.
I get a little of this, myself. I grew up on in the endless sunshine of Arizona.....and these northern new england winters get to me sometimes. I will say its been 100% better with the addition of these shakes, a B12, and a vitamin D supplement. I also think the raw ginger in the shakes is good for the gut flora, which can actually cure depression by itself. I'm getting ready to start adding kefir to the shake (or at least drink it alongside).

Yes goose liver is fantastic, gritty little chicken livers though not so much and I did try them twice on separate occasions. I will be honored to try yours someday though.

Oh, I'm with you 100%, can't stand liver just made as liver. Blerg! Hate the consistency. [emoji13]

Can you possibly pm me what you put in the shakes and how to make them? I'm extremely interested in at least making one in the morning to start the day as I rarely eat breakfast.
