Awww man, if ever the UK and Canada made bigamy legal, I'd love to have you as a second hubby! We have a beautiful glass dragon, a little battered now but still very much loved, that hubby bought in the late 80s. There is a lot of dragon stuff in this house. Annnnd somewhere, not currently in use, is even a dragon toilet roll holder.
I have no problem doing chickens, we've kept them in the past and had to cull through injury or illness, and even once for meat. I'm not phased by it. What's the temperament of the miniature Highlands? I've heard the Dexters can be a bit wild - at least they can over here! And what about the piggies?

You should take a look at some of the miniature companies....there is really cool dragons figures and with a few utube vids you could paint them amazing!
The highland and the dexters have excellent temperments. They are handled lots, and some are halter trained. Even the pure highland bull is great. Never had a problem with the pigs either. Hardest thing is getting them onto the trailer when it comes time to butcher(send the pigs and cows out to a butcher)
