citric acid works well........ if you water right away. However, it does not maintain ph over time sitting in a container or res. I tried using food grade citric in an auto pot res and withing 24 hours my ph crept up from 6.5 to 7.1. I went back to standard ph up, phosphoric acid. but if you mix and use right away it works fine.

Do you recommend that over regular ph down?

ya, you box or bag a cup or two of soil, from a couple places in the garden, and send it off. Around here you go to the 'county extension' office, and buy a box with postage and all. In the US most states have this available in University areas, and major cities.

So initially I was kinda bummed with my order from the autoportal because I thought it came with a keychain. But the seeds I got a sweet calendar....... But then the post man just stopped by and I was thinking it was my other stuff but....... It was a KEYCHAIN.. Yeah boy I need a keychain but it's what was also included. that makes sense, the Earth Juice is 5% citric acid, 10% phosphorous something. If I read it right, small print is a terrible idea.
