What I am talking about is more applicable to outdoor growing. With indoor, I would be creating my own soil, or purchasing plain soil locally and amending it. I can go the local soil yard and buy several types of soil. I prefer sandy clay loam.
This is what I'm trying to learn now is how to create a soil. Possibly using my yard dirt as a base.

Man I wish I didn't break my phone camera I'd be putting so many pics mannnn lol oh well it will have to wait

Goodness!! Now I remember why I hit live stoners at 1 in the morning...my dial-up internet literally cannot keep up!! Hahahahaha

@ashton - I was a very simple pot grower(simple but effective) for many years and grew many fairly large photoperiod plants(2pound + dry) with just Dolomite Lime and well rotted horse manure. Outdoor doesn't have to be fancy to pull a lot of grass.

Yeah finding a like minded group to play with isn't easy!! I too have a thing for dragons...painted many showpiece dragons in the 20 years I have been painting.

We have a small crew of miniature cattle(Dexter and Highland) and we breed our own. The biggest thing with a cow is making sure you have enough grass for it to eat. If you don't and have to buy hay, it wont be worth it. Chickens are easy to raise, but make sure you have the stomach for the butchering, its a pretty gruesome job. Turkeys are even worse.
Awww man, if ever the UK and Canada made bigamy legal, I'd love to have you as a second hubby! We have a beautiful glass dragon, a little battered now but still very much loved, that hubby bought in the late 80s. There is a lot of dragon stuff in this house. Annnnd somewhere, not currently in use, is even a dragon toilet roll holder.

I have no problem doing chickens, we've kept them in the past and had to cull through injury or illness, and even once for meat. I'm not phased by it. What's the temperament of the miniature Highlands? I've heard the Dexters can be a bit wild - at least they can over here! And what about the piggies?
