The only way I see that happening is in the aftermath of societal and economic collapse. When we have no choice but to start over.

If it's any consolation, we're getting pretty close to that point.

There are many great minds working on it, and many trials happening for co-operative business models, shared ownership, intentional communities, and more. You will never find these things in media, but it's happening. Like I said, we will either change, or we will be forced to change. We are not in control as we like to think.

The thing only takes 5 minutes to learn to fly and it has some automation ..We are not made for working stupid jobs . We are here to think and invent ,make heartfelt expressions through the arts , explore and to reproduce .If robots did those jobs we would have more time to fix hearts and minds and get rid of money. We have people with hundreds of billions of dollars why? DONT BE afraid of change. Im sure the horse people said the same thing about cars. I couldn't fathom taking a vacation to another state taking 3 or 4 moths to travel lol Soon everyone will make their own power for free and sell it back to the power company . You can learn anything you want on the internet for free. Things are changing.Going into the age of empathy.

We all know what they said about going horseless, we all know how there were claims about what cycling would do to women. We know they were wrong but the deaths annually involving automobiles of all kinds, and aircraft, show how much an influence the "human factor" still has and when you add a third dimension to your average Joe, who's spatial awareness is almost nonexistent, then you can see the recipe for disaster in the offing.

And automation? Ask Lion Air about that, their latest one was an automation and not human failure.

Sorry, but we, as humans, are nowhere nearly advanced enough to be able to handle such an evolution, and given the rate we seem to be devolving we never will be advanced enough.

Capitalism has a limit.No-one knows when it falls, or what the first domino to fall will be. There has never benn, nor will there ever be, a society that is based soley on debt can not survive. It always ends the same. (see Rome)

LOl we wont have a real crash ever we cant .if we crash the other powers do too.Im talking about the USA. You see what happened last time with the banks .They will make money out of air to keep the Lie going.

That "lie" you speak of is taking its toll. It is really only a matter of time before the collapse. We've been ignoring the problems for decades, kicking it down the road for the next generation to deal with, and so far none have.

I hate to be a pessimist on this, but it doesn't matter how many brilliant and compassionate people formulate a plan for a utopian society. The rest of the people that are to live in it are selfish, self-centered, shortsighted idiots. And until you get them to go along with it, it won't happen. So in other words, it won't happen.

We are marching towards a collapse, and it won't be pretty. Will likely be bloody. Perhaps when the dust settles those that remain will come up with a better idea and start again.

It's quite simple really, the "elite" get dumber and dumber as their lives get easier and easier. Over a few generations the grandkids become completely self absorbed, they isolate with other elite, then they start to hate everyone thinking people just want their money.... Then we get late stage capitalism.. Where we are now. All the hates and fears that have been ignored are surfacing in a last attempt to regain the stability of the past. This will fail, and our society will have a period of time that is very hard. This usually culminates in either a return to Democratic ideals or the state will fall. The US has been through this several times. First the American Revolution, then the abolitionists movement and Civil War that ended slavery. We had it somewhat easier for the Civil Rights era, but we are here again. We have faced this before.

Well said, my friend.
