LOl yea some strains dont go as they say I had some go 120 days lol some just get huge smaller pots might help too.

I might switch to soil just to be able to restrict root growth. I have a feeling it can't be as much of a pain in the ass as DWC.

Autopotss for the win I just started my first autopot grow should be a cake walk.

Here are some new pics of the kush monster. The lights are as high as they will go, and the main cola is still higher than the light can reach.

A pretty compelling argument for a taller tent...

:pass:

You could go a-bending, bring stalks across each other and tie them together with string or whatever so things go a tad "flatter" and the colas will still happily fill out. The added advantage is that as things fill out and get heavier then having the stalks tied like that helps support them so there's less chance of things snapping under the weight.

That is likely exactly what I will be doing tomorrow. I'd really love to see this thing grow into a quarter-pounder. It certainly appears to have that potential.

I've done it before, couldn't believe it worked given my level of inexperience but it did keep things down and I was glad I did because stems would definitely have snapped. It's also an old trick I learned years ago with things like tomatoes, cucumbers and so on so I guessed it would work with weed too.

Giving the stems of the tallest buds a little "crimp" so they bend over flat works too, ended up doing that last time round with no ill effects.

Guess that's the joys of me not being the experienced super-grower like most of you lot, I expect to bollock things as I try things out and if it works, well, it's a bonus. If it doesn't work, then I know not to do it again but you only learn by mistakes.

Meanwhile, no real mistakes on Maria but unless she starts growing quickly then I think starting in a small pot and then transplanting into the fabric pot may have been a tad detrimental. But that won't happen again anyway so, c'est la vie.
