Yeah I think it's decided.. Next investment is in a 4x4x8 tent and some more COBs. The Kush is going to way underproduce just because of the height limit.

Did you have the light far ? Is it that strain that is just so tall? I had tall ones that took 90+ days to finish.

Yeah, about 2 feet away when I have the room. The strain was supposed to finish about a month ago, and for awhile I wasn't sure it was even going to flower. Then it went insane.

I was seriously about two days away from just chopping her down when the flowering started.

4x4x8 I found hard to come by, the one I got off eBay only has single door access and it's a real pain with a tub and res taking up the floor space!

Gorilla do a modular one but it will be dear!

Let me know if you find a decent one, I hate mine!

Been looking at a few on amazon. I have a 2x4x5 now. I cannot imagine the 4x4x8 being anything less than an improvement.

I am only going to do auto's so if there are any light leaks, it's not a show stopper.

@mike are those the optic xl"s your using? and if so how you liking them? i was thinking the same thing as @DABaracuss that thing is a beast for sure, looks amazing.:smoking:

I came from 3x3x6 and it was great but I'm still running HID so need the 8' high, single access sux as you are reaching so far to access plants at the rear. Also messing with light hangers requires a step ladder and again, reaching is a real chore. Idc about light leaks either it's just the access.

I am using @BigSm0 COBs.

The plant is a beast.. Might try some really late-stage supercropping just to get the tops below the light ceiling.

LOl yea some strains dont go as they say I had some go 120 days lol some just get huge smaller pots might help too.

I’m looking into boards myself..... quite expensive too strata off with... it’s like 1000 dollars for 4 boards I’m guessing....

What yield can you pull from them ?
