There is nothing, and I mean *nothing*, like eating food borne of your own garden. I am envious, friend.
We're hoping this year will be better for the garden. Last year everything took a crap. But now it's had another year of the soil to work in all the stuff that was put in.

Wish you well this year. I am probably only going to do small stuff. No shortage of local farms here for keeping stores up. I'd have to build a greenhouse to grow anything besides a teeny herb crop. The deer will make short work of any outdoor stuff.

My hope is that they wont come this close to the house. The neighbors dog has so far been pretty effective in keeping them away.

Me too my friend....we try to grow as much produce as possible to sustain ourselves, but last year was harsh...tomatoes(3 70foot rows worth), got hit by blight fast and hard....shitload of work for pretty much no tomatoes!!

So first time with this soil mix, ( trying a new one ) and I can say thinned to 35 gallons is a little strong..The nutrient pack mixed at 30 gallons is photoperiod strength, I added extra coco, peat & perlite but still a little on the stronger side.. Definitely plenty of gas in the tank for these Double Grapes as they mature and require more food...Next time I make this mix, I'll thin it further, note to self..
