I hear you man....truth be told i have always thought THC percentages are total bullshit. I have smoked some of the highest rated medical weed in the world(32.7% THC) and ironically i found it to be lacking. Somehow the grass I can grow in the field has as much, sometimes even more of a psychological impact......
There is a huge amount of marketing being done concerning THC and CBD, in fact in most dispensaries in Colorado here, those are the only two cannabinoids you'll see listed most of the time. Some labs will print other percentages though, like CBN (fuck yeah) and CBG, THCV, etc. So many of these smaller compounds provide synergy we have yet to even remotely understand. THCV may help suppress appetite (as opposed to increase it) and increase energy. That's pretty significant if you suffer from diabetes, for example.
We need more research! Less emphasis on these guys lining their wallets!
