Rainbows Skellie ?? They need a warm spring rain and murky water turns them on .

Yes bows....sight fishing in 2-3 feet of water for 5-15 pound fish. Water is already super murky, high and turbulent, not to mention freezing!! Still lots of snow melting in the bush...gonna stay high and cold for awhile!!

After a few days of warm weather, and a couple of days of downtime after the opening weekend pressure, they are going to be on fire!! Ive been fishing river bows hard for about 20 years.
I used to go here Ganaraska River in the spring until it got posted . It was like a zoo everybody that could swing a rod used to be there . Not anymore . :nono:

I just brought a plant in to show my wife, shes just got home from work so im getting wrecked again, with her this time...

So i put the plant down and she is quietly admiring it to herself without saying anything at all..nothing....not even " for an idiot you are pretty good at that " no........just silence.. She was chewing her lip a bit and breathing.

Then suddenly she says.."grab the fucking camera", me , thinking something kinky is about to happen grabbed the camera.

Then she glided across the carpet and moved the plant a bit.just a bit, and this happened

Absolute magic

Yeah for sure!! I avoid the super populated rivers....the shit that goes on in some of the popular rivers is disturbing. Haveing giant fish in shallow clear water really pulls the asshole out of many people(snagging, flossing, netting ect) Me, i would much prefer to make a fish bite, or i would rather not catch it at all!! I could have easily snagged a number of fish yesterday.
