I have it happen with hops, which I think are the same family, and I'm a little sensitive to Dinafem's White Widow. I know someone who has an allergic reaction to Heavyweight's 2Fast2Vast. So yeah, could be the terpenes!
Except I'm sorry to say I don't think it would work with a chicken because of rigor motis. You have to let that wear off for 24 hours (learnt that the hard way).
