Afternoon Elle!:pass:I had not heard of that island...had to google it. Absolutely breathtaking, I must say! I bet there are some stunning sights! Will you be going back?
It was beautiful, we had a family of kestrels fly over us most days. Perhaps one day we'll go back, although I might trade the perfect climate for better infrastructure (internet and grocery supplies). Oranges were 6 euros for 10 kilos (22 lbs) straight off the farm so we had freshly squeezed OJ every morning and I made my own lemon cordial. Very happy times!

@Mossy any idea on orange prices straight off the fincas near you?

Hi trail, good to see things going well with the indoor grow while you wait for Sola to do her stuff! :bighug:

Have you ever seen a Scottish wildcat hairy? I'd love to, they're awesome!

I haven't they are very rare, and endangered

I dislike foxes for the same reason. I had one kill my favourite black hen once - she laid blue eggs and we'd hatched her from an egg in a home-built incubator...

I had about 10 killed and my fav silkie cock :yoinks:

oh yeah, and the preferred way to take porcupine is to club em, saves bullets, they be slow, no need to run. Probably won't be finding this on the net either, way un-PC
Thats the way my father in law does 'em. My mother in law tells a story of him (70 years old) running across their land in his undies with a club, and beating a porcupine to death. :crying:

Sounds like a great time!

I have't liked your post because it's nice (it's horrible to lose birds), but because I feel your pain. I haven't had silkies myself because I heard they don't lay many eggs and mine had to lay their way, but I've always liked the look of them. We're still debating whether to get any hens this year or wait until next.
