Got a fat ass bag of mega crop and sweet candy in today. If my calcs are correct that should be enough for 50 or so 4 plant grows if the girls are taking a full normal feed. :) pretty happy to have food that they love. :) new lights and tent will be here tomorrow. Yay!
You do a journal tag me ✌️

Are you laying down paper towel on flat surface? Your tap root curling and fat? If so, try placing what you have seed on in a more verticle position. Tap root want to grow down, but when on a even plane, they get confused and grow weird. Placing verticle will make taps grow straight and more normal.
I think this time I cooked them !! Trying to be a good dad I bought a seedling pad for additional heat . Another F.U. it gets too hot over an extended period of time , it needs a thermostat like GG has . I don't love my plants enough to go to the added expense plus it really isn't needed . :toke:

It's going to be one of those day's !!!! I have attempted to re box this heating pad and send it back to Amazon and each time I've forgotten something 3rd time is a fix .

Hey Bear...just my two cents, but this may help....I use one corner of my boiler to germ seeds on. I put them in the paper towel, the towel goes in a plastic container with a lid, and I set it and forget it. Seems to be about the perfect temp.

Hey Frank Thanks for the input . I've been germinating in paper towel as well without problems . I seemed to be screwing up a lot at the seedling stage ??? I get them going and then the wheels fall off . I'm Pushing too hard instead of taking my time . I thought the heating blanket would move things along a little faster instead of letting Mother Nature do it's thing. I keep jumping from one thing to another like a man on a mission instead of relaxing and enjoy the ride . One of these days I'll get it . Maybe !! Possibly !! or never . :nono:

I dont bother with the paper towel bit

pint glass of water....drop the seed.in

12 hrs later dunk it under the waterline

12 hours later it will have sunk, be swollen and ready to pop in your medium of choice. Saves all the handling and trying to orientate the seed when it has germinated a tail.....it will do itself anyway.
