Here's a question y'all might have answers to - I bought a set of 1-gallon Vivosun brand bubble bags recently and they arrived smelling really heavily like chemicals. Almost a gas/diesel smell. I've washed em three times and they still stink pretty bad. The seller says it's probably from being in storage for awhile and that it's safe.

Am I asking for trouble trying to make some hash with these things? I'd hate for it to come out smelling like a gas station.

nylon being a petroleum product would be the culprit, Im just assuming they were bagged in plastic (another petro product) unable to breath holding in the smell. HOT HOT water and vinegar soak 50:50 with some agitation here and there (overnight for real strong smell) will help rid that smell. Then wash vinegar away with clean hot water soak a few times

only way I can, after all, the land isn't bias, not personal, she dumps on all:biggrin:
