Dunno about the chemical tests, but if the distilling process is working and it's pure water then most meters will have trouble getting an accurate reading. Might be worth searching around a bit to see if the chemical kits have a similar issue.

I am using a chem test.... thats why I think some of the citric is boiling over

Wait, reading comprehension is not strong in me tonight..

Im using the standard general hydro kit, and it's pretty accurate for what it is. Chem tests don't have the same problem as the electric meters. They dont rely on at least a little conductivity to function..

Not really relevant, more of a tangent, but I imagine litmus paper would make a good tester for distilled or R/O since it works similar and doesn't rely on conductivity, either. :baked:
