beautiful trail! i envy where you live, the scenery is top notch. im a mountain guy myself:d5:
dude! mountains what brought me N. First 12 years up here our camp was 40 miles from the village, headwaters of the Shungnak River, in the Swatka Mts of the BOOKS RANGE!
 
We lived in the 70s on the Skagit River, right down in the delta, outside the dike, in a floathouse on the bank of a slough. Fish coming right to to door:biggrin:
 
I don't know of any people these days who have lived as remote as me. Travel over snow was only way to travel, so May thru Nov, we were just we, the 2 off us. Sure did learn a lot about myself, all that peace, no distraction. First year, no electricity. sure did get into the winter time night sky

If people could kick electricity for a year or more, especially if your still young, it would give a different perspective
