not as good of a view round here but if any of you guys find yourself in my neck of the woods i have a 800 hectare lake just 5 min walk away good trout .pike.fishing and very good corse fishing too if that one dont preform on the day there another 365 lakes / ponds within a hours drive to say im spoiled for fishing spots is a understatement

theres a few good rivers also still trying to get my first salmon buts its not easy in freashwater

But.....if i hitch that means i get to fish the entire country on the way...see a lake that looks good? "Hey bud, drop me off right here!!" When i was in my 20's I did exactly that, but my wife was there with me!! All the way from here to Alaska(only made it to Anchorage though before summer was ending)

ooo, that sounds like a fun trip! After you overwinter in anchorage, or Jraven's hehe, you can continue to the NW....

Be heading out a couple of times this week!! Friday is opening season on THE lake trout lake....I'll be disappointed if I catch less than 20 lakers on opening day regardless of the weather.

Sweet man!! Great to have awesome fishing close!! Winter(icefishing) is hit or miss here, but the spring and summer fishing for around a dozen species here is world class.

that looks like some nice country. Man I just love all kinds of water ! I have to fish for a living but I would go for a vacation there!

OH I SO WANT TO!! Damn i would love to catch those sheefish!! They look so similar to our whitefish, just bigger!! Our "whiteys" average around 4 pound, but you can get 'em up to 7-8 pounds. Amazing meat on them!!

Never tried it myself, but i have seen a couple of PIG ogres grown that were quite impressive!!
