yep theres 2 phenos the purple my fav,the green dont seem to foxtail for me.

Sweet Island Skunk and some other sativas are nothing but light feathery foxtails that can blow my mind.

There's actually quite a bit of foxtailing. I wonder if it is related to the light burn?
I do see a bit of it on the fastbuds images but not this much

most foxtailing I've had, 20 days before harvest, window grown russian fuel. Foxtails might have more surface area for frost growth? this girl gave some of the strongest smoke i've had

The legendary Dr Grinspoon strain looks like only foxtails....I'd love to smoke some of that someday.
