I'm always so shocked to see a dry weight for my harvests after the huge wet weight numbers. It's a bit disappointing till I realize how much money I just saved.

wet weight rough trim 21 oz
dry weight, de-stemmed, 6.5 oz

hmm how dense are your nugs !
that's only a 3.2 divide

I trim quite close and remove all stems and i divide wet weight by 4,5 to get dry estimate ... that works roughly for me
by my estimate u should have between 4.5 and 5 oz .... dry

Or maybe i way overdry

One of my jars is reading 63, the other is still burping a bit. last check it was at 68. I might have jarred them up early.

they are denser than they looked, but its the heavy trichs doing it.

i like to jar a day earlier than most ... will much rather burb for few days to get right ... than overdry to begin with ...

but sometimes we get impatient

actually i might be a bit off, that formula i deviced in my first 2 grows under burble ... now under cobs i bet its a bit better ..

now i rarely even do wet weight ... i have some trusty jars, that i know holds just about 50g dry each when packed full

Since my next grow will be cobs, I have do a better job at keeping them short. The part I worry about is height, even though I have about 7 feet.

I've seen plenty of vids showing manageable height compared to HPS though, I should be fine.

How much better is using RO water over distilled water?

No idea, but given buying it would be prohibitive cost wise due to location, a RO system makes the most sense.
