I only know Chrome..not familiar with windows exploder....
To clear browser history in Chrome....

to clear Browser History, Cookies, Cache..etc

click Top Right 3 vertical buttons on web page below the "x"...
click settings, scroll down, click "advanced"
Scroll down on
Privacy and security
scroll down to "Clear browsing date" click...check boxes you want...and click "clear data"
