I picked these up dirt cheap:
View attachment 848486 Fact is, I'll have to wait until LED gets in the price range of T5's. :shrug:We grow with what we've got :smokeit:
so true, so true... That's why I really fell in love with this Meizhi 600w Reflector Led, I bought for only 130$ including shipping 3yr warranty, the Led kicks ass, put it this way I was doubtful about it when I bought, even though so many good reviews about them.. As soon as opening box I could tell it was way better then I expected, solid ...I love the veg/bloom switches... you can't buy 1 cob for that cost, not with that size footprint either..and 1 cob isn't enough ya 2 need min to flower... cob good for 18X18 area I believe..

mmmmmm....rosin

:woohoo:

wow

Unfortunately i dont have a light meter...this is the 5th run i have done at 24 hours on(each run 80 days) as well as another 2 season of 2 month + vegging of outdoor plants. To date i have seen no reduction in yield, actually yields have been quite good(shooting for 1 gpw on the run i just finished). Still not comparing them to the effectiveness of cobs, but for the guy on a major budget they arent a bad bunch of lights at all!! (mars 100X3, galaxy hydro 100X3). I chose the 3w models because i have a very cramped space and thought they would be the best choice with limited vertical.
my cheapy led is nameless one its just a cheapy 300w --156w @wall I paid like 78$ for. that one burple for sure, but I've grown some killer looking plants under that led.
