yup they sure do. they will find their way in... I had nightmarish time with the gnats this time around and only because of them stupid smart pots keeping the bastards alive... once they are an issue in them next to impossible to rid them.. I heard several things regarding that, that I kept my coco to wet, or my coco was infected, blah blah but no it wasnt infected, my coco wasn't too wet... I know exactly how it got in, only takes one to make millions.... once they are breeding on them smart pots, you won't get rid of them using sprays, chemicals or anything else..
I thought that coco was safe from fungus gnats !!

I feel you there boss. I've got to go to work soon and dreading it. It's 92°f in the chicken houses, and -2°f with wind chill outside. I have to be in and out of them for next few hours. Sucks ass! Lol
yeah you win mate that sounds pretty horrific lol. i almost had to start work in a fish factory today. managed to avoid it by signing on the dole wich remarkably pays slightly more. whats the point in that? i now have to get at least a tenner an hour to make more than i would get for doin nothin. i make a lot more than that usually but its not the point. most folk on the dole are unskilled and wont ever make that much. why would anyone work for less than what you get for free? scotlands a really weird place to live sometimes like.

@johnp540, hope it ain't to cold for him...he had to come in from outside...it ain't cold here (SF bay area) am surprised to see amphibians at all around here anymore, much less in January.
Got ya. Man I wish I could be there now. I was just talking to a guy yesterday about weather in Cali. Just seems too expensive to live out there. For me anyways. Lol

My mother bless her heart did it for years ,long before dryers . Finally she had a porch added on the back door so she could still hang the washing outside without freezing her buns off .

I remember my brother and I bringing in the frozen sheets like carrying plywood or drywall. I can't remember just cold keeping us in in Maine. Sleet and blizzard meant no play outside. but once it stopped, we were out in it doing something. It was my bad luck that we moved way south just as the first snowmobiles were showing up. Probably the only type vehicle I haven't driven and I know I'd have really gotten into it.
