Just cut the Cord on cable..just internet.....Got Roku and amazon fire stick....Just saved me over 180.00 a month..and loving it.

The only things that I miss after cutting the cord (3 years ago!) is football and broadcast news. I intsalled an over the air HD antenna and now get everything but Thursday night Football. I don't regret it for a second. Especially now that Comcast is jacking up prices again.

Most of you will not know that while out walking Billy my dog last night, I was knocked over in a hit and run. I hurt like fuck, but nothing permanent I hope. There are some mean people out there.

A good samaritan helped me up and got Billy under control.

Still in shock. Still in a lot of pain, but still posting. You can run me over, but I am still here...............eP.

connected to my nas with 10+GB of content i dont need any subscriptions

I have a KODI fire stick downstairs, and a kodi server upstairs. But both my storage and backup hard drives went out on me last year and I lost everything. Millions of files I had storing for decades. So many books, FLAC/MP3, movies, all my pictures ( i was a photographer for ten years.).... I have not had the heart to start it over again yet. I still have the drives incase I want to try to take the platters out, or send it off for recovery.

I think Genesis was the latest one I used. I havn't had it going for a while now. I switched to Roku after I lost all my drives. I used to like Pheonix, and another one I forget. Her Place was one I liked, but she changed it's name last time I tried to find it.

damn ... i backup only personal media ... photo's, books and music ... but those i have in triple copies..

i worked in a computer repair shop for 10+ years ... i learnt the value of backup !!

the number of wine bottle i have gotten from saving birthdays, weddings photo's etc...
