I missed that question.

pull some soil back from the base and see if its mushy or strong, and see if water is channeling through the pot instead of soaking through.

I'm planning on soaking my pots before I plant in them too.

Every day but yesterday was the first real watering and it was only 3 cups per pot. Until then it was just a misting to keep pots moist. And a bit ago I watered again about 2-3 cups each!

Ease up on the watering..That soil surface looks plenty moist..Even if the surface gets somewhat crusty, guarantee with those size plants there is still plenty of water half way down the pot..Space your watering out..water deep, 2-3 cups and wait 5-6 days until you water again..The curling of the leaves on the middle plant from looking at the picture makes me want to say over watering as does the pale discoloration on the plant on the left.

Ok I weighed the pots when I set them with soil and they hit there dry weight before I watered them I will give them longer now before watering also now my humidity is staying around 30-40 %
