Me too...we just got a big book, going to torment Live Stoners

I got the collection too. Love it. The only better comic collection is Edward Gorey.

I used to have K is for Kate shirt. I wish I still had it, I wore it to bits.

Merry christmas to all at AFN.
It is boxing day now so it is time to relax.

you want me to critique your grow?lol okay. sure.

well not knowing what soil mix and feeding cycle(s) your on but overall because of the Peat AND the coco mix it dries fast fast.especially when the air is sucking the moisture right out of it and floors are cold. so you get a double whammy in tjhe drying and cooling the pots off quick quick. thats first.lol

then becasue of the faster drying out and less body of the soil for life and foods to HOLD the food(s) and life and moisture to actually FEED the plant rather that a hard root development. thats were a lotta people tend to fail man. plus ait pots so actually it a triple whammy lol. thats it in a nutshell. I doubt the genetics are crap,Id imagine theyre great/so thats the way Id look. lights maybe. but from the ground up right?lol so,soil mix needs work.

Well said. I feel I may suffer from some of that, as I struggle at times with early growth.

Hi @jingo ,

yes American Pitbulls are a banned breed in the UK sadly. There were a few incidents of bad owners (not the dogs fault, but bad owners) and they come under the "Dangerous Dogs Act". My Billy is not a pure Staffy and was deemed to have a bit of Pitbull in him, but the inspectors deemed him to be 95% okay. Both breeds are similar and the most loyal loving breeds you can get. Great with kids too.

But some bastards use them as fighting dogs for profit or as attack dogs. We live in a sick world at times sadly.

I was just watching an episode of "Yukon Vet" and sobbed my heart out when she had to put down some chaps dog.

In the US South we have folks breeding them for the fights. They are mistreated, forced to fight, and bred for aggression. It's very sad and stupid.
Aside from the obvious problems, there is a genetic issue here too. One in ten or so who were saved out of those breeding farms were not sterilized and have passed that aggressive gene. I have a friend who rescues pits, and he has seen it first hand. Once in a while some of those pits from the breeding clubs or its offspring will go a bit nuts and attack other dogs or people out of the blue. I have seen it first hand. Like in a person with war trauma or an abuse survivor, they can have a random switch. Most of those fight rings have been shut down now thank the gods.

I have a warning sign/picture that says my Staffordshire Bull Terrier Lives here...........in other words......enter at your peril ........... The bad guys don't know he is as soft as ice cream.............but would you take the chance or go elsewhere ?

Look at that noggin!!

The Pits first came to my attention as problem dogs, with people using them as weapons. I've since known lots of them they are really good, loving family dogs.

yeah, when I lived in the Philippines I had next door neighbors who used to fight them, I ended having to move coz I couldn't stand hearing the dogs fighting, Plus how they do it gives very unfair advantage, the winner keeps fighting taking on fresh dogs, so after a couple of course it's next to impossible for him have any energy left, but they put them right back in to fight..

I'm off to watch the games. Enjoy the day folks. I know I will, all thats in my future today is a couch, a grinder full, and a remote control.

Dreams of friendly puppies and no need for security dogs dancing in my head.
