Na, you can do set & forget, but if looking for huge harvest then ya need do just what ya would with photo's. I get awesome results. But mine are far from set & forget...

I try to only go into my grow rooms twice a week, kinda where I say set it forget it. Less traffic less problems. Avg 1.5gPRwt

@F.N. I agree with you that he'll never convince that guy, He isn't very open minded from the sounds of it... Ya know I was also a photo grower, but Auto's found a special place in my heart, Not to mention I'm doing really well with them.. I couldn't reply ya on there, but I did want to let ya know I agree..

He'll you can even slow or speed up the flower cycle with autos aswell to a point

can do that with photo's also, the nice parts about auto's is ya don't have worry about light interruptions, like with photo's...An auto can pull 1lb+ , you'd have veg a photo plant 1.5months or more to pull a lb from a photo, not to mention will take 3 times as long..

Typically I will run 90-120day veg on a 16/8 for those times when I hit a 9-12 week flower I will start light dep. I have never cut it to less then 9 hours on. But yeah I agree on time. Usually if I'm not chasing genetics. I will start the beans I like from seed first run, phenom hunt those, then clone out. The clones allow me to speed up the process since it holds the mother's age. Allows harvest every 2-3 months. I would love to run a whole room of autos. Maybe if I ever find a strain I like I'll try it for my winter cycle next year.
