The peppers I've grown seem more like trim to train. I have 5 plants over winterin now. Black jalapeños, chocolate habeneros, yellow fatallis, and Carolina reapers... all different, but all have pretty much the same structure.

I could see how a pepper plant cpuld benefit from a trellis

Sweet seeds, sweet cheese. Shes got,so much vigor its crazy, still early in flower but she looks like she's going to have rails of resin which I'm obviously very disappointed about (sarcasm) lol

They might, but as soon as they get larger, the stalks and branches really toughen...I tried some gentle lst, and cracked on of the reapers...twine made a decent bandage till she fixed herself... and I won't do that again.
