Yeah I use a DIY cob set up with eight cobs on a 3.5x3.5 frame in a 4x4. I used to adjust but i usually grow four strains at a time so I just go high. Seems to work fine. Maybe the light is more spread out? No idea myself need to talk to one of those smart people about it.

Just finished a double grape it is so nice. Going to make extract out of the trim today.

I tried that with COBs but my plants get too stretchy and don’t branch out as well. I’m still finding my sweet spot.

Yes...that is my thought exactly. When the light is at the top of the tent I get better diffusion, or what ever. lol

I have gone to adjusting power instead of height. It took some practice to dial in though.

that is a good idea....I always forget the cobs have some adjustment...
