mines just rockwool, and two drippers that fill it up every couple hours with nutes, and drains out. drain holes in the planter cup, one drain hole at the bottom of outer cup, the drippers go in between the cups, and it fills in a bout a minute, drains in about a minute. I let it till for 15 mine, every other hour. I may play with that timing to get her to go faster. @Ash-a-Ton is beating me for size. But damn mine is gonna be pretty, symmetrical, and perfectly formed while his is gonna be a shaggy chaotic giant.

That sounds way too complicated for my hillbilly ass...

Can anyone think of a good reason not to use wood for a COB frame?

I built the first frame today, but I'm waiting on one more bit of hardware to wire it up. I went with a 14 inch separation between cobs for the first one, I think I'm going to do the second pair at 16 inches.

one of them will cover 4 ft wide , the other only needs to do 3.

I hope everyone's day has been going well. I should've just came back on last night after I couldn't sleep no matter what I tried. Atleast finally this afternoon I got a nap in. Now it's time to start the day over again.
