We had a house explode due to somewhat similar circumstances in my area back in the 90s... It's only somewhat similar, due to the fact that the guy was going through a divorce, and didn't want his wife to get the house... I guess he knocked the gas line off his furnace and stove, lit a candle in the attic, and ran for the hills.If it's leaking under ground near the house, might want to check in the basement or crawl space for any gas. That house in some small town in CO that blew up when the dudes were putting in a new water heater due to natural gas leaking from a line off a gas well that ran near the house leaking gas into the dirt and it seeping into the basement really makes ya' think about that sort of thing.
