I know that most light builders do not put 100 watts to that Cree chip. It has a better light spectrum and efficiency both at 50 watts.

That k you everyone. Always a bit nervous about talking to people online. And in person. The one of us always shys away from every last contact they can with anyone and the other one (whose talking now) still feels shy even though I've had a different nick on here for years still feel like I know too little to be in with the smart people. Always being put down by other growers about growing autos, using leds, wanting to ask too many questions. It makes it awkward. Thank you though.

But now well ask a question. Anyone have experience with this cob? Interested in buying a single 100w version. And if it works buy 1 or 2 more for a bigger space (one plant per light is the idea, and dwc too) Says it's got a Cree chip (or whatever it's called) in it. And we want to push some more power.

I'd get on cobshop.net and look at what's there. Looks like one on cobshop is about $40 cheaper than that one.

whats a good price,dunno aint bought a light in a year or two.
cobs are all the rage,im sure they cheaper/better than the white light pic.

edit...im £ not $ so im in the wrong neck of the woods to you.

Anytime I can help, I do. The thing with cobs is that all the specs are confusing. I reccomend getting Timber or Autocob lights depending on what sort of space you have. If you need a framed light, or need lots of lights, I recommend Timber. If you need a couple lights for a tent, the autocob has a mounting point in the center for hanging them individually. Both of those companies are reliable, and have great customer service.

time to try the ALF5 again. I broke out a bud to taste before jarring it today. The first taste was OK, still green. Now it's dried up, and the taste is in effect. Tastes like cough drops and swiss cheese. LOL
