My phone only has a 4x zoom, and my brother's goes in to 8x or 12x, So I'll use his when I need it.
...otherwise it'll be a guessing game based off of the plants sudden stop in water consumption, and leaves turning "fall colors".
((fyi..he and I split costs on everything grow related))
I've always loved photography. Part of me thinks I should have been a photographer instead of musician.

I was a semi pro photographer for about 5 years. I did weddings, horses, roller derby... I never was able to make a living with it though. I gave up on it, but I worked at a photo lab for several years developing film and slides, making prints. 2nd best job I ever had.

My truck battery was good and dead yesterday. Measured 4 volts after leaving the lights on and it sat for two nights. I charged it, and it wouldn't gain voltage, so I left the charger on all day and night. We shall see if it's fixed now. probably not, sucks. I'm totally broke right now.
Well that's odd, my truck battery was dead Sunday, went back in and grabbed my dad's keys, he yells at me drive it like an old man! I said I'm 51, I am an old man... went out, both batteries in his dodge were dead... moms pretty far down the Alzheimer's trail and dealing with heart failure, and having both vehicles down is unacceptable. My xterra's back up, dealing with the dodge today.

What helps with mine on my phone.
Zoom all the way in. And turn flash ON so it does the flash focus. Also use an led head light or something on area of where your taking the pic. Thay way the flash wont mess up the pic.
Poor mans method lol

I've found with a lot of auto, point and shoot type setups that the flash will also give a really short, fast shutter speed to match up with the light burst which in turn helps with less motion blur from my shaky hands.

Sorry bout the mom. Rough stuff.
But i cant forgive you for fixing a Nissan before a mopar. Lol jk.

Hope she soars!
Me too. Since she's growing so quickly, I moved the light down to roughly 1/4 inch above recommended height this morning. ((Dark period is from 2am to 8am because that's the time I can dedicate the most time to her)).
I'm staying a hair above recommended height at first since she's still in the humidity dome, and I don't want the condensation on her leaves to amplify light and burn her. No clue if that's a good idea or not, but that's what I'm doing for now :pass:
