Guy's I have a problem with them fabric pots (smart pots & similar) the issue is they seem to attract gnats, the only time I ever had/have gnat issues is using them pots.. so take that under consideration... coz they a real bitch to get rid of...:pass: If ya think about it they are perfect for them little bastards to lay eggs, the material gets damp, perfect nightmare conditions for them pests!

I ran into fungus gnats on my second grow. They trashed that run pretty hard. Since then tho I top dress with a small amount of mosquito pellets in the coco at the very beginning of the grow. Haven’t seen a gnat since I got rid of them about 6 months ago.

problem is the fabric is perfect breeding ground, they lay eggs along sides of fabric pots, down near bottom...you---yourself may know once your already seeing them flying ya already have an infestation... everytime ya go to feed plants you'll notice on sides of pot as it's getting wetter it kinda pushes them out...

I had actually forgot why I stopped using them, I was quickly reminded on this past grow... Like I said I never ever had/have pest issues, the only times have been when using them fabric pots...can't be coincidence.

@Unique I just go a quick glance of my pot this morning and it looks like one of my girls was popping her head up, but it was sprouting brown!

Over water or nute burn? I'm wondering if the coco loco I got is hot.

have photo? I can't picture what your describing..

I see this posted a lot, but I find no information on it relating to Cannabis. And utterly impossible for many home growers suffering through the cold and dry of winter. Also, I see little benefit to those not running closed systems, as you need to keep the CO2 levels high also.

well I use VPD (vapor pressure deficit) until 2-3rd week flower, there a chart ya can use for guideline showing what your temps are at and where your humidity should be with them temps, thats all thrown out the window come 3rd week of flower though as your unable to sustain high humidity in flower due to mold.pm and other nasty's...

It'll be a few hours since I'm out now, but it was just a quick look before I left and the stem and leaves coming out of the seed shell looked like they were brown.
