Narrowing things down a little.
Is it a dud seed or dud soil?
Did the soil come from the same bag or do you amend your own. Could the soil have been a little hot from the start?

Could be just a bad seed/genes...everything is the same...same batch of soil mix...I mixed OF with 30% perlite. I know OF can run a little hot so no nutes for 2weeks depending on how strong they look, just ph'd water. only thing different is that it is in a 3g smart pot, which was rinsed and cleaned before use

Hot OF compounded by slightly hot nutes. One seed handled it better than the other. Which is odd as Mephisto is pretty well on point.
Looks like one of lifes little mysteries.

What is the PH of OF

After 6 years, 18/6 is my go to time. I just try to time the night periods to the warmest times of the day.

I'd love to do that but having to share a room with an extraction fan when you're trying to sleep isn't much help. Anyone got a recommendation for a really quiet one??? I'm using a Ruck RVK-100
