4 Autocobs @24/7with marshydro only turn on when temps get to low, 4x2x5' tent. temp 77-82, RH 40-50 , 8" carbon/exhaust. 6" fans circ.
Everything sounds good, wasn't sure if maybe fans were blowing directly on the plants, that can do some weird things. Low humidity too, from what I've read, I'm going through that myself now but symptoms are different. I'm not a fan of 24/7 lighting myself, but if that works for you great, a lot of people do it with no ill effects. It's just not my thing. I believe in lights out, letting the plants rest and do their work. But that's only my opinion. I'm sure if you've done it for so long with no problems that's definitely not the issue. Hopefully you'll be back on track in no time. Best of luck to you buddy, keep us posted. Happy New Year!

I can't help myself. I am an engineer minded guy. I gotta let it out.

You are right, 24/7 is detrimental. On the genetic level all biological creatures experience DNA damage throughout the day, plants are no exception. The circadian rhythms are influenced by day/night cycle, which controls multiple functions in the plant. During dark hours the plant goes into DNA repair mode, and re-folds it DNA and activates the process of transcribing new DNA for new tissues and or flower change, or leaf drop hormones, or whatever.. The best ratio scientifically speaking for Autos would be 18/6 to maximize photo-synthesis and overall health and recovery potential.

Usually the only reason a plant will have a hard time with nutrient uptake is because somehow the ph went off... It looks like it can be couple issues, but still believe it's because ph locking it out from getting what it needs.
I agree 100% bud. That's my first thought as well.

Happy New Year @Renaissance Redneck how did your tamales go? We got some made and in the steamer now.
Masa was a little thin, but amazing flavor! Playing on my New Year's gift right now, an awesome talking tablet! Gonna take some time to get it figured out :cooldance:

I am a bit frightened of internet connected microphones. My new Oculus has a MIC, and accepts voice commands, although I don't yet use it. I am not really happy about having the thing and ever being sure if the MIC is hot or not.

Have you used Dragon Speak or whatever it's called? the voice transcription software. That sounds like a good way to write to me.

18/6 would that mean any nite time would help? I'm afraid of my temps as fking cold its been and gonna be I have my timer set for 20/4 but currently running 24/7 with cobs and they don't really put out any heat! But I'm no expert on growing weed but I do think naturally everything need sleep lol

I couldn't agree more. I am a firm believer in respiration, plants combining oxygen and food for usable energy. What do they do with it when they don't get a night cycle? I honestly don't know. I do know that all the work done during the day is probably reenforced during lights out. I've been reading about this for last couple of weeks actually. I didn't want to lay it down as fact and ruffle feathers, simply because people do use 24/7 and do well. I do believe they could do better possibly. Here's the latest thing I found on it.

Environment comes first! if you need the heat, that is way more important than longer night cycle. I should have added, in a lab environment.
