Its a good strategy if you are packing the glass bowl.

I elbow-pack the screen. Since the temp at the elbow is much lower than the bowl usually start at 212 for flavor hits and bump it up to a max of 220. This gives me max body effects, and depending on the weed I still get 6-8+ big hits which is 2 doses on average.

BTW, some people mix their spent weed into yogurt or peanut butter. It is decarboxylated when you vape it.

That totally makes sense...which explains why i dig it so much packed in the bowl at 185c....if you run it up with 210 is combusting, when packing the bowl

@1Nonly
take the leaves with the greatest impact underneath...try to tie branches so they spread out and open up light channels.

I do some defoliation on pretty much every plant i grow indoors

I don't know about this. I like to harvest on a warm afternoon, all sticky and resin flowing. How I was trained to harvest most herbs, I've read a lot of growers harvest in the morning
i've heard this as well, i think the theory goes that the sugars aren't circulating inside the flowers in a dark period and so you chop just before lights on and they stay in the roots, thus making a smoother smoke
