Maybe you could post a picture tutorial :)
Do you drench the plant and spray everyday?

Thanks! sorry i completely forgot about that

If you sprayed the plants a few times then didnt get a chance to spray for another couple of days would that be okay?

i think you would be ok

ive forgotten a day here and there and was always fine , and ive heard people say they only sprayed a few times and got male flowers (what they claim , i have no proof of that myself)

peace

Thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences. These are the threads that I learn the most from. What happens when you change a process, on purpose or accidentally, and what is the outcome? Maybe I don't really have to wear my lucky underwear and play Jimi Hedrix while harvesting seeds for them to have a 100% germ rate. Lol!

I have my CS made, now just waiting another week to identify the best girl for her sex change. The pollen will be collected and frozen for future use.

Does anyone have pollen collection procedures?
Can you collect the pollen store them in vials along with a few rice grains and them in the freezer?
Do you have to wait a bit before storing them in the freezer or can you store them in the freezer right away?

vials and rice always worked for me, just make sure the pollen is completely dry before freezing

A desklight or similar above the shaken pollen will dry it in a few hours before storing.
On spraying. I've sprayed for 14 days from light flip, every other day for 20 days from light flip and this time round 7 days, 4 day break then 7 days and all have worked - perhaps this last time the best.

Once my male starts to make a decent amount of pollen, I shake him over some wax paper every day for 4 or 5 days. After every shaking, I use a serrated butter knife to lightly scrape away anything that isn't pollen. At any time in there, I can use it fresh. When I'm done with the collecting, after letting it set out a day, I fold the wax paper in two, then again, so I can shake it into the inside corner. Then I cut away the excess wax paper to leave about a 4 inch square, 8 x 8 when opened up. For storage, I fold it a few more times and put it in a small ziplock, then in a sandwich size, mark it and freeze it. When I want to use some, I pull it out of the freezer and let it warm up before opening the bag. Don't want condensation to dampen any cold pollen.
