what i mean is that not all autos are the same lol
I have been growing the same genetic line for over a year now
and they all seem like they really like my fert schedule.

This is what i doi break it down as follows

First off let me talk about what i use as ferts. I have a 4 part system that i use and most of this is in the brain so please bare with me as i share this one.

I use FF grow big (hydro formula) Tiger Bloom and then two tea variations. One is high in N for veg and the other is high in Phosphorus when its time to flower.
I apply these through out the grow. I use the FF to get it started.
then i move to the teas and then back to the FF and then back to the teas

So i break it down like this:
FF GB is 3Tbsp/1Gal for heavy feedings. So in my mind this is more than enough for our fave friends. So it states that 2tbsp/1gal is for normal feedings so i use this as my base number. After that i break it down into 1/4

at 7 days i start like this
Day 7 1/4 dose to a gal
Day 14 1/2 dose to a gal + 8oz of N rated tea
Day 21 1tsp GB and then 1/4 of TB (bringing in the TB)
Day 28 1/2 TB + 8oz of Phosphorus rated tea
Day 35 1.5 tsp TB to a gal
Day 41 2tsp of TB and 8oz of Phosphorus rated tea
Then Flush till finish unless it needs something at the end.

I think that this is everything that i do like i said i am not sure as this is all in my head. If the plants demand more that i give more this is just something to go by. I usually do not swap in clean water feedings at all over the fert program. I just use the jug then its gone. Now if i start to see over feeding or lockouts ill flush.
But if i keep my water on point i never usually see a lock out or toxicity.

Hope this helps

ok but everytime you water is it nute water or do you give plain water everyother feeding?

Now that I have been doing this for a while, the ability to properly read and gauge your plants needs and deficiencies is nearly as much as an art as it is a science. If your plants are trucking along, growth is strong, there is nothing being shown in your leaves as far as deficiencies or toxicities (THE TOXICITY OF YOUR CITY, Sorry I am high and I love that song) then continue to feed them as much as they want it. HOWEVER, with that said, be sure to leech your soil and always have 10% run off to avoid mineral and salt deposits ( one of the many reasons why we avoid tap water). Even if they are loving everything you are doing, I would attempt to at least nute every other feeding with at least half nute solution in order to prevent a sudden lock out. You have to get a feel for your plants and the strain. Now, if after you feed your plant a half-nute solution and your plant is not happy and shows you she is not happy, then go back to what you were doing. But, at least try to fit just a plain water feeding once every 3 weeks. Do this, just to make sure we avoid the aforementioned lockout, and make sure it and every feeding is PH balanced though! Everything I said before is basically strain dependent. Some strains will just eat the cheddar bay biscuits and the entree' and still just want some more damn biscuits. Once you figure out how this strain reacts to your feeding and nutes, you should write down your progress in case you ever grow that strain again. Food for thought. I am growing an unknown photo strain that gets highly irritable if you don't feed it some sort of nutes in every watering.

today is day 12 yesterday i ga new1.jpgve it some grow big about a half teaspoon per gallon of water it seems to be liking it so far....hoping its not to early but it looked verry healthy new.jpgand happy this afternoon.

also i have been having a problem with gnats i water when the soil is dry so sometimes its like 7+ days before i water again i still see those suckers not to many but 4 or 5 here and there how do i get rid of these?

:wiz:today is day 16 and she showeed her pistols this morning def female pics to come in a bit.

When the plants are that young it can take quite awhile for them to dry out. As they get bigger, and feed more, your interval will decrease.

Fly paper works good for the gnats. They like damp soil and will lay their eggs in it. Once they hatch and start flying around the sticky paper will get them. You can also put about 1/4 inch of sand on top of your soil to prevent them from laying their eggs. But with only a few I doubt that's necessary. The fly paper will do the trick.

i got fly paper seems to be doing the trick cought about 7 june2.jpgon the paper only had 1 flying around this morning but ive now started noticing them in my house plants also they are sooo anoying but anyhoo day 17 june1.jpgand she grew like an inch over night this plants turning out much larger than my first grow :)showed pistols yesterday day 16 hers the pics of today.june.jpg
