Ok idk if you guys are still looking at this post but here's some updates using sm-90 now and the plants are shooting up and my roots are looking a lot better here are some pics. The only down side is sm-90 makes my ph shoot up
hey buddy glad you got the sm90. the insulation stuff looks like bubble wrap covered in tin foil. not very technical gear but it works wonders. and yeah just realised daggers comment up there. bit too far away with the light. oh aye, and what do you mean it makes the ph shoot up? as in after you put it in the res its rising faster than usual?
Well the sm-90 it self is about ph 9.3 and I put about 20 ml in cause I have about about 15 gallon res. My ph was about 5.6 then I added it and went to about 7.2. I'll move the lights closer thanks for the tip.
I'm still new to this as I said so why should I top wouldn't that make it more bushy? I just don't have a lot of space I'll have to look up how to top. Also just a question can the part you cut off from topping be used as a clone?
Yes if u cut far enough and do it at a node. Your plants need to be a Lil bushy man. Going straight up with no nodes gives u nothing in yield. I would top em or start over honestly. U need your leds about 20 inches or so for veg. And less for flower. Least u got on here and have the chance to learn.
What's up man, sucks that this keeps happening. What is your water source and how often do you change ur water. I go either from week to week (depending on situations) or every 2 weeks (I grow in a hydro setup- DWC)
Don't let this discourage you, a learning experience. Last year I killed 2 girls by stupid mistakes. Most have been there at some point.
My water is just tap water from my tub. And lately I've been changing every week to try and prevent this. I use to change every two weeks. I know I'm still learning but it still sucks when you think you figured out what the problem was and boom it comes back. Just trying to figure it out so I can stop it from never happening again
