Hi guys and girls.
I am growing Autoflowers for the first time and i am using a setting i build for photoperiodic set a while back.
Now i am looking for similar setting to compare grows. I bet someone has build something similar to this but i don't know the right search words for this setting.
So what i am asking is, could someone point me to a similar setting or know name for this kinda DIY setting?
Thanks

I can't understand your setup from the pictures given.
Could you carefully describe it in words?

Assuming those red arrows mean that the slab holding the pots sits on the shallow tub, your setup is similar to mine.
Autos can get huge, strain dependent, so having a low setup is helpful.
Autos might be more sensitive to nutes, but otherwise they behave just like photoperiods.
Temp, humidity, aeration all affect growth and the rate at which plants take up reservoir solution.

My autos never go above 450 ppm (EC=0.9), and too much growth is the main problem.

Consider growing with the high humidity that the Vapor Pressure Deficit chart recommends.
Subtract about 5 F from air temp to get leaf temp, then stay in the green.

I form of DWC, I havent seen anything like that before. Looks to working well eh?
yeah pretty well for how much it costed to make. 0,7/w with photoperiods.

Thanks for the chart. Looks pretty good. I am actually not that far off :D. Yeah 2-3 inches of growth in stretch is amazing :D.

Really simplified :
140L tray is holding nutrient filled water witch is pumped directly in to webbed pots filled with clay pebbles . From there roots absorb the water witch is falling down back in to the trey .

you got a fully functional hydroponics grow goin. excellent work

Haha thank you. I am still looking for grow setups to compare things.
Would be nice to know if agressive pruning would stop stretching and does this kinda set up slow the flowering time, since the roots can grow as big as they want.

Hey Hemp you could low stress train(LST) them thatll optimise yield and a bit of stretch will do no harm. If you have big healthy roots youre a winner

I am not a newbie grower just newbie with autos.
I already did LST but its getting harder to do anymore to a plant thats +90cm tall :D.
Rhizotonic and Cannazym are great for roots so i really don't have any problem with them.
Since i don't use warm water and light does not get in to the trey i don't get root rot.
