Doing some searching here I found it mentioned several times but no one seems to have journaled their grow on this strain. I'm in need of a stronger heavy yielder and was looking at this.

Was it as advertised? I'm looking at possibly running 8 in 2-3 gal pots in a 4.5x4.5 tent 24/0 under 1K.

I was moderately successful last winter under a 400w with oil filled rad, but i'll be eliminating Hempy's this winter and opting for FoxFarm OF.

Any input on this strain?

I have a Robocrop plant at exactly 2 months old today. It is a relative monster. I recall the description calling it a machine. So far, I can only agree. It's too early for any qualitative testing. But already it's shown itself to be a bud-making machine, and is now just starting to pack on the resin (and with a long way to go still, hopefully, will keep packing it on to the ridiculous extent the breeders claim).

It is by far the biggest plant in my tent (jammed in with 7 other plants all germinated within a few weeks, each with about 1.5 sq. ft. of space, all in 5 gallon air pots, coco coir/perlite, manually/DTW fed Advanced Nutrients full line, pH Perfect Connoisseur base). Sorry, I don't have a working camera for pictures. At 2 months, it is 31-inches tall; has a classic tiered Christmas-tree shape; with about 20 outer/visible buds (ends of branches from LST), all relatively big (the smallest being at least 1-inch wide and 2-inches tall) and looking on track to get fairly solid; plus, there are loads of inner buds that get good direct light and will be comparably productive; plus, it has a big central cola. The flowers already look much better, fatter and more solid, than in the picture COTC provides, with that looking like what my buds looked like a week or more ago.

Already, it looks like it will easily have 4-5 oz. of prime buds. The buds are damp/spongy with resin, seem on track to harden, and smell just as you'd want them to (much the same as a Jack 47/Sweet and Crop Circle/COTC I'm also growing). With its lush leaves, no yellowing or other signs of aging, there's hopefully a month (or more) to further pack on resin. I'd guess 2 weeks till start of using Overdrive, then another 2 weeks on that, then a week flush. Hopefully, the buds will be ridiculously big and solid by then (a 5-6 oz. harvest?). COTC says the plant goes in 75 days -- it looks more like it will be 90 days or more.

Based on everything I've seen so far, Robocrop will be a real winner -- very rapid growing, non-demanding, productive, potent, smelling great, etc. I look forward to the high being as mind scrambling as COTC claims it is.

@BII , How's that Robocrop Doing now, man? Ready to come down? You got a photo? I'm pretty much definitely gonna run Robocrop and 2F2V together next time, head to head, wanted to see your results, as you're about the only person I found on the forum with experience with the Robocrop. Wssup?

I'm hoping he updates as well..

I'm about 5 weeks out I imagine to finish my current photoperiod run, i'll germ my RoboCrop in a few weeks under the T5's.

Robocrop plant update Sorry, don't have a camera available:

General Condition: It's 28 inches tall, has about 50-60 total buds (ignoring the large central cola) from maybe about 3-inches length down to single popcorn buds. I now estimate about 100 grams dry harvest, but my estimate could be off by +/- an ounce. Buds are moderately dense; I wouldn't call them hard, but close, particularly the buds on the top 1/2 of the plant; probably harden as dry/cure. [Note, this is my 3rd grow cycle, and in my last I got over about a quarter-pound dry from 3 out of 8 plants, so Robocrop is doing about as good as I can expect for me. Others may be able to get it to put out more].
I've started flush (last feeding was yesterday). All leaves with stems are gone, have been gone for at least a week, only buds remain. Those who harvest based solely on leaves would have taken this down at about 7-10 days ago (way too early). The buds are still very alive, active, still mostly green with calyx/sepals (which as I understand it, drive trichome production), hardly any sugar leaves. Dissecting a bud, it's just chock full inside of in-folded layers of trichomes - juicy with terpenes.
Productivity: She's putting out more bud mass than anything else I've got in the tent, and she's finishing a week ahead of the other plants, most of which are a week older. So, Robocrop appears to be quicker or at worst average in growing time. The other older plants relative to RoboCrop lagging behind in growth and bud mass include a Jack 47/Sweet, Fantasmo Express/Mephisto, Durban Poison/Dutch Passion and Crop Circle/Cream of the Crop -- all with reps as decent producers, all in the same media, getting the same feed, etc.
Trichomes: Mostly cloudy, some (too many) still clear, a few (not enough) isolated brownish-tinged ones, no or negligible outright brown trichomes [Not ready yet by trichomes]
High: [From a not yet fully mature bud]. Sativa, more cerebral vs. body, similar to Amnesia/World of Seeds, which is also a Thai derivative. It is the type of high where you are likely to forget what you just did, are supposed to be doing, etc.
Potency: [From a not yet fully mature bud] Definitely potent, when vaporizing individual hits (using a hand-held Eterra/Purple Days-class convection vaporizer) and also doing a stem in an Arizer Solo conduction vaporizer. Sorry, I don't smoke, so can't tell give a "smoke report." Also, I heat up the bud material on foil on top of a light, both to powder it and get rid of as much unneeded terpenes and other volatiles as I can, so I can't really comment about "taste" when consumed.
Doing a stem-full with the Solo vaporizer, I got just too high (not just stoned, which we all get all the time). It put me in a trance (contribution of the Narcotic Kush part of Robocrop genetics?) or maybe I was tripping-type high. I definitely got too stoned/high to try to do something requiring concentration, even driving (but I consumed a good amount).

Bottom Line: Everything I've seen indicates Robocrop has:
high productivity
high potency
high-quality high; along the lines as expected
It is also quick and easy to grow. It was always the fastest grower and biggest plant in my tent (after overtaking others a week or more ahead of it).

Bll.. thank you again for the detailed report. I'm becoming a fan of your postings, i'll make it a point to check out your journals soon.

Glad I scheduled 2 runs of this strain, 90 day periods with a lil more if needed before I shut down come spring for a western trip. I'll journal my grow and add pics for the next guy/gal, perhaps @Gabe will as well.

Think i'll be making a mistake if I run these in 3.5 gallon Oxy pots? Oxy's are HTG airpot knockoff's.

I'm definitely going to be doing a grow journal, my goal is to make a hybrid with another big producing plant, so that's going to be the theme if the journal, since I'm pollinating mine, they may not be the best to judge overall production of the plant on, but I'm starting the papa plants this week, and the Robos nov 1.

Robocrop Harvest Report -- All Good!

After about 100 days, I harvested my Robocrop plant [indoor, LED, coco coir/perlite, Adv. Nutr. nutes; grow further described above]. I got 140+ grams/5+ oz. of buds. This is my best per plant harvest so far. For reference, 3 of 6 other strains (planted and harvested at much the same time, same media, nutes, etc.) yielded about 4 ounces. I'm sure others can do better, particularly since I lost about 70% of my usual light (was reduced to using my supplement side LEDs) for about 10-12 days in early bloom when my main LED broke. So, the plant definitely was productive.

It already has a high-end Sativa high. The harvest is dry, not cured at all, but it is already eminently vaporizable. It has a potent Thai- and Haze-type high (as expected). It can be mindscrambling, not psychedelic, more mild euphoria and you'll find yourself stopping and asking, "What was I just doing?; What was my last hit?....etc.; similar as I noted before to Amnesia/World of Seeds (from of prior grow), which is also a Thai-derived strain.

If you're looking for a Thai/Haze strain, Robocrop is actually pretty much like its description! It's on the top of my to-hoard list, keep all for myself.

I find myself stopping and asking just that quite often.. since picking up this hobby. ;)

Thanks again for your input and congrats on the harvest. I have this strain in house and expecting 6 other auto strains in shortly, think i'll run 2 of these along with others. I also ordered up a bale of PromixHP after reading up on the FFOF.

I'll get a journal up soon.
