Indoor Cosmic Apprentice, Skywalker and Cosmic Queen

Hey guys this will be my second grow on AFN and thought it would be interesting to grow these 3 side by side. Skywalker was always one of my favorite strains before I started growing my own so I'm excited to try it in auto form. Cosmic Queen so far has been my favorite strain out of the 8 or so Mephisto strains Ive tried and is the first one I am growing for a second time. With Cosmic Apprentice having both the Cosmic Queen and the Skywalker in it I decided to make it my third strain this grow.

2x4x5' grow tent
260w Alibaba QB
3 gal fabric pots
Pre amended coco peat product that is being used for the 2nd time.
Gaia Green amendments (veg 4-4-4 and bloom 2-8-4)
4" carbon filter

Started 1 seed of each in a glass of water with a couple drops of H202, 24 hours later @ 80F all three had taproots so into the soil they went. Two days later all three were above soil so this is day 1. Lights are currently on all the time, but I plan to change this when they begin to flower. From left to right its Cosmic Apprentice, Skywalker and Cosmic Queen.

Day 7 and they're looking pretty rough. This is my first time reusing this soil and I added about 50% the recommended GG veg but I think the soil was already relatively hot. At this point I was thinking Ill give them until day 14 and expecting Id be pulling them and starting again with some fresh soil I have left over.

Day 16 and they have really picked up and turned the corner. I could tell by about day 10 they were coming around but I wasn't confident they were out of it until today. After this photo I topped the SW and CQ. The CA is a bit behind as its main growth point died off and it regrowing from the second node so I decided to give it a few more days.

Day 22 all 3 are doing well, with the SW and CQ responding nicely to the topping. CA is now catching up and was topped today. So far Ive just been watering with tap water that has sat out for 24+ hours.

Day 26 Ive given them all some light training and trimmed a few select leaves and inner nodes. CQ is showing her sativa side and branching out all over the place, while the CA and SW are putting out some pretty big fan leaves. They're all been showing preflowers now for a few days and the smells are starting to come out. Still only giving them plain tap water and have yet to top dress. When I do Ill be using a 50/50 mix of the veg and bloom GG dry nutes at the recommended amount. First photo is a few minutes after training and the second photo is about 8 hours later, its amazing how fast they recover. These photos are from the current day so we're all caught up. Day 28 Plants are transitioning to flower and starting to stretch. Did some leaf tucking on the Cosmic Apprentice (L) and Skywalker (M) as they're both putting out some massive leaves. Not much else to report for now, just watering and watching.

On another note, just set up another tent to start seeds in for the first 4-5 weeks, so Ill be posting about those in a few weeks once I get the seeds started

Day 32 Plants are starting stretching nicely so I readjusted some of the plant ties and had to tie down the tops of the Skywalker as they were really reaching above everything else. Accidentally broke one top off but such is life, theres still gunna be a decent top there growing from the node that was left. Also trimmed a couple leaves off of each plant that were directly blocking a some good growth and removed 2 or 3 nodes from the interior. Top dressed with the GG 284 bloom today, decided not to do 50/50 with the veg as the plants are still quite dark (darker than the pics show) and I have a good fish bone meal fertilizer that is high in N if I need it. Smells are definitely starting to ramp up, opening the tent gives off a nice skunky smell

Day 35 Plants are still doing well. The middle plant Skywalker has some yellowing going on which I think is from too much light as I recently upped it a bit. The others seem to be ok and they get a bit less light due to positioning so thats my guess. I reduced it back down a bit and swapped from 24/0 to 20/4 light schedule, we'll see how it goes. Gave em a light dose of fish bone meal fertilizer last watering as well.

Day 42 The middle plant Skywalker that had been yellowing started to get some brown spots along with the yellowing continuing so Ive started watering with cal mag and its fixed it up really good. New growth is coming in nice and green and the plant looks healthier overall. I've slowly increased the light again as well. Other 2 plants are doing well apart from a little bit of burnt tips. Cosmic Apprentice was stunted the most at the beginning but is now the biggest of the 3 but is a few days behind flower development wise. Still doing some minor defoliation every second day when I water, 1-4 leaves just to keep it open.

On another note, just received some meph testers and got them in dirt yesterday that Ill be posting soon

Day 49 Plants are still progressing well. Cosmic Apprentice is finally done stretching for the most part, had to supercrop 3 points to keep it in range of the other 2 plants but it took it well. Skywalker is still not 100% happy with the amount of light so Ive moved it to the right corner and moved Cosmic Queen into the middle which should hopefully help a bit. A few days ago I took SW and CQ right out of the tent and defoliated and trimmed some of the lower junk. Did the same for CA today. None of them really needed all that much, about 5 mins on each plant and they're good to go for another few weeks. The smell on Cosmic Queen is really coming on now, smells exactly like the first time I grew her, sweet candy smells, excited to get this one finished up. SW is getting stinky too but mostly just typical skunky smell right now, CA doesnt have much but similar to SW.

Day 57 Plants are still doing well. My CA is still a few weeks behind the other two and os yellowing out a bit more than Id like, not sure if its light or nutes related. The pictures make them a bit more yellow than they are in real life but Id still like em a little greener. The CQ is chugging along and is really plumping up. SW looks to be ahead of them both and should be finished earlier than the others. Top dressed again over the weekend and fed microbes.
