Copacabana

Cool man. Tikal always sounded good to me as well, they have such a great library of strains.

I think I was ultimately surprised with the heft and density of my copa, plant is leafy but can produce some weighty buds. I'm sure you've got a lot to work with.

I'm fine here, thanks, and hope you are the same. Hope you enjoy the strain, looking forward to hearing your feedback.

I harvested the majority of both plants earlier in the month. I'll be cutting them both down tomorrow. The first one was harvested on day 188 and the second one on day 198. The first one was the shorter of the two and is in most of my previous pictures. The second one was taller and more thin looking. Interestingly the shorter, wider plant had much lighter, less developed buds and the taller, thinner looking plant had noticeably heavier buds.

These plants are quite vigorous in the sense that they've had horrible treatment for the last month and will not die. They are both still surviving in my garage with minimal incandescent light. I would love to see what these plants do growing closer to the equator with some good strong sunlight. You know, back where they are from...

Anyway, here are a couple of harvest pictures.

Hey Mediscrogs, hope you are doing well.

I haven't smoked much of the Copacabana yet but just tried a bit tonight. It seems to have improved from the little I tried earlier.

The buds don't have much resin on them and the trichomes under the microscope look half the size of the ones on the blueberry hybrid I grew alongside these. That said, two hits off a bong and it seems stronger than I expected.

The buds from the taller, thinner plant are light and airy and smell of sandalwood, incense, and pine. The smoke was smooth and tasted hashy and a bit fruity. The high seems to bring on a cerebral alertness but it is relaxing and calming at the same time. Like if I feel my shoulders tightening, I can stretch and consciously feel my body relaxing and calming. I'm not sure if it's helping my lower back pain at the moment but I definately feel it in my head, neck and shoulders. Sitting on my back porch typing this in the evening fog adds to the experience.

The two plants do smell quite different and so far I've only tried one of them. Looking at them I wasn't sure they were going to have much potency but they just might.
